New Art Projects

I haven't been doing any dog portraits lately, however I did take Art 101 at the College of Southern Nevada to try and challenge myself and learn some new techniques. I loved it! I really enjoyed trying new projects, being part of a class and being pushed that little bit further by a classroom teacher. So these are my latest drawings...

Word Art: We had to actually create the word from strips of paper and tape, add directional lighting to give it shadows, then draw it.

The Stencil Project: We had to make a stencil and use it in conjunction with a 3D image.

The Final: We had to draw this still life in our second last class which was our final test. Our teacher set up plastic glasses and cocktail napkins with lights all over the room. It took about 3 hours!
